Bare Interviews

Common topics and how to get help.

How do interview simulations work?

You choose an interview type (JS coding, UI coding, or system design), optionally filter by companies or difficulty, and start a timed session. You get a question, write code (or answer verbally for system design), run tests where applicable, and submit. The platform runs your code and evaluates it; you see results and can review feedback. Your attempts are saved in your history so you can reattempt or compare later.

How does code evaluation work?

For coding questions, your solution is executed in a secure environment. Test cases (defined for each question) are run against your code. You see pass/fail results and, for eligible attempts, an AI-generated evaluation including dimension scores and a hiring-style verdict (e.g. Strong Hire, Meets Bar). Evaluation is automated and based on the question rubric and your submission; it is for practice only and does not guarantee any real interview outcome.

How do I reattempt a question?

Go to your Interview history. Find the attempt you want to retry and click Reattempt. You’ll be taken to the interview flow with the same question (and optional company/difficulty context) so you can try again. Reattempts are new attempts and will appear as separate entries in your history.

How do I report a bug?

Please contact us via the Contact page. Include a short description of what happened, what you expected, and (if possible) the question or attempt ID and any error message you saw. This helps us reproduce and fix issues quickly.

I need clarification on a question

Some questions include clarifying Q&A or examples in the problem statement. If something is ambiguous or you believe a question has an error, email us at the address on the Contact page with the question title or ID. We’ll review and update questions or clarify wording where needed.
