1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Bare Interviews ("the Platform", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Platform. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Description of Service

Bare Interviews is a technical interview simulation and practice platform. We provide coding challenges, system design exercises, and tools to run and evaluate your code submissions. The Platform is for practice and skill development only. We do not guarantee employment outcomes, job placements, or any specific results from using the service.

3. User Accounts and Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when registering and keep it up to date. You may not share your account or allow others to access the Platform through your account.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any illegal purpose or in violation of applicable laws
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access or collect data from the Platform without permission
• Attempt to exploit, reverse engineer, or compromise the code execution or evaluation systems
• Submit malicious code, code designed to harm systems, or code intended to circumvent security or evaluation logic
• Abuse, overload, or disrupt the Platform or its infrastructure
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity or affiliation
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Platform or its content without authorization

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy.

5. Code Submissions and User Content

You retain ownership of the code and other content you submit to the Platform. By submitting content, you grant Bare Interviews a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, run, and analyze your submissions solely to provide the service (e.g., execution, evaluation, feedback) and to improve the Platform. We do not claim ownership of your code. We will not use your submissions for training third-party models or for purposes unrelated to operating and improving the service without your consent.

6. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its design, branding, question content (where we own or license it), and technology, is owned by Bare Interviews or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Platform except as necessary to use it in accordance with these terms. Question content may be subject to separate licensing; use within the Platform is permitted for practice purposes only.

7. Platform Availability

We strive to keep the Platform available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or changes that temporarily limit availability. We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience due to unavailability.

8. Suspension or Termination of Accounts

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms, fraudulent or abusive behavior, or for any other reason we deem necessary to protect the Platform or other users. You may close your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases; provisions that by their nature should survive (e.g., limitation of liability, governing law) will survive.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR UNINTERRUPTED. USE OF THE PLATFORM IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, BARE INTERVIEWS AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE PLATFORM. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE PLATFORM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED INDIAN RUPEES (INR 100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

11. Changes to the Service

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the Platform at any time. We will use reasonable efforts to notify users of material changes, including by posting updated terms on the Platform. Your continued use after such changes constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree to changes, you must stop using the Platform.

12. Governing Law (India)

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
